Smarter Way To Travel

Malindo Air

" To do business is human, but being human in itself is good business. That’s what ignites the spirit of the people behind Malindo Air "
Established in 2013, Malindo Air is an up-and-coming airline based in Malaysia with headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What began as a pact between the National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI) of Malaysia and Lion Air of Indonesia has become the first hybrid airline in the region. We have a way of giving you low air fare with premium in-flight services included. That means your baggage allowance and in-flight entertainment are taken care of. Fuss-free and no hidden costs.

Malindo's fleet of Boeing 737-900ER and ATR72-600 aircraft flies to domestic and international destinations operated centrally from our hubs at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (also known as the Subang Airport or Subang SkyPark) in Subang, Selangor. Because we’re a young airline, malindo fleet’s average age is only 0.5 years.

Since Malindo's inaugural flight departed from Kuala Lumpur for Kota Kinabalu in March 2013, Malindo's have taken pleasure in expanding their network to include everyone’s favorite destinations in Asia, such as popular cities in Thailand, India and Indonesia. Malindo's have plans to bring several other destinations closer to you in end-2014.

As of January 2014, over 1,000,000 satisfied customers have chosen to fly with Malindo Air. Simply because we’re the Smarter Way to Travel.

Pro's of Legoland
1.Economic Benefits
Just weeks following the opening of Asia's first Legoland in Nusajaya, local taxi and restaurant operators are pretty excited over the prospects of higher incomes and revenue from the expected rise in tourist arrivals, which will ultimately boost Johor’s economy. Since it opened its doors Legoland, has attracted more than 10,000 visitors. Iskandar Malaysia has been mapped out by Khazanah Nasional Berhad to help transform Johor into a major economic hub. The opening of a new township at Iskandar Malaysia also meant that local and foreign tourists would not bypass Johor Baharu but spend more time and money in the state capital and its surrounding areas, thus boosting the local economy.
2.Annual Passes
The Legoland Annual Passes allow the member to visit the park again and again for a full 12 months. The Premium Annual Pass let the member to enjoy both Legoland themepark and the water park. The Annual Pass also available for those who like the theme park only. Both annual passes bring you extra privileges all year round. It also offers discounts on merchandise and dining.
3.Global Tourist Destination
Closely located to Singapore in the southern tip of Malaysia’s Iskandar region
in Nusajaya, Johor turns Legoland into an international tourist attraction. Being in
the southern part of Malaysia, Legoland can profit from tourists coming to Singapore or
to Kuala Lumpur especially in the future when the Senai Airport starts more direct
international flights. In terms of international tourists, Legoland targets international
tourists that already come to Malaysia or Singapore.
4.Monopoly
Being in a monopolistic competition with other entertainment venue companies, such as the Genting Group, Merlin Entertainments faces a set of unique challenges and opportunities. For example, there is not a large presence of large scale theme parks in Malaysia, but still there are enough that Merlin does not have massive control on the market. However, being in monopolistic competition, they have the power to make their own decisions without having much fear of heightened competition from other competitors. Partly, this is because there is high differentiation in the product, which is in this case, the theme park itself. Legoland Malaysia has its own theme that is different from other theme parks and thus can attract customers who have different preferences. It would seem that the Merlin Group sees building Legoland Malaysia in Johor as an opportunity, and feel that it is a good location for them to place their latest investment.

Con's of Legoland

1.No walk in the park

2.lack of infrastructure

Shopping at the Largest Airport Mall in the Worlds

KLIA2 - The biggest airport shopping mall in the world with 70,000 square meters of retail space

In the entire KLIA2's development, Gateway@KLIA2, a shopping mall with 35,000 square meters of commercial space was built adjacent to the KLIA2 terminal building.
While this is still unofficial, KLIA2 would be the biggest airport shopping mall in the world with 70,000 square meters of retail space which is even bigger than London's Heathrow Airport, Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport and Singapore's Changi Airport.
The concessionaires for 225 retail outlets at KLIA2 were awarded by Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) on July 2012. Of the 225 outlets, 118 lots have been allocated for retail offerings, 81 lots for food and beverages (F&B) and 26 lots for services.
In total, the combined retail space at the new KLIA2 airport - Gateway@KLIA2 mall (32,516 m2) and Airside shops (35,000 m2) - will make up about 13.6% of the total floor space.
